I was born and raised in Dunnville, Ontario in a family of 5 children and in a community where I learned the value of hard work from an early age. Instilled in me by my parents was the idea that if you want something, you got to work for it – nobody is going to give it to you. This idea led me to an array of jobs as a teenager from working in greenhouses, farms, landscaping, and various aspects of home construction. Each job I learned valuable traits such as strong work ethic, communication skills, time management, etc – all traits that I now apply in my career as a realtor.
After attaining a degree from Brock University, I followed that up with getting a diploma in Financial Services from Mohawk College. Although I enjoyed academia, it was time to focus on a career that I had passion for – real estate. I had worked for a home builder for many years and had bought & renovated a few of my own homes, but now it was time to get into sales with my hands-on knowledge. In 2014 I became a licensed sales representative and began my journey as a realtor.
